Lincoln’s Final Words. Then the Wilkes Booth Bullet in the Theatre.

Just before he was shot in the balcony box watching a stage play, Lincoln turnd to his wife and said that truly it was time for him to make a very open confession of his need for Christ as Lord and Saviour, and to officially join her church. He wanted to find a way soon to travel to the Holy Land and to see the real locations of so many wonderful Gospel events that he had read in his own valued pocket Testament. Then BANG, that fateful sniper’s shot. Lincoln was on his way to the New Jerusalem.
